Storage
- Fridge in an airtight container: up to 5 days.
- Freezer: up to 2 months, frozen flat first then bagged.
- Fresh fruit and no preservatives means the counter is not an option; keep them chilled.
- Discard immediately at any sign of mould, which fruit-containing treats can develop quickly.
Serving considerations
- Keep treats to a small share of your dog's daily intake, and reduce meals slightly on a heavy treat day.
- A sensible number depends on your dog's size, weight and diet, so no single serving fits every dog.
- Pumpkin adds fibre, and a sudden large amount can loosen stools; start small.
- Offer one treat first and wait a day before a second, especially with a dog new to blueberries.
- Check with your own vet before adding treats if your dog has a medical condition or a prescribed diet.
