Storage
- Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Fish-based treats spoil faster than plain baked biscuits.
- Freeze in a sealed bag for up to 2 months and defrost only what you need.
- Discard any bites that smell strongly or look slimy — these contain no preservatives.
Serving considerations
- These are occasional treats, not a meal or a complete and balanced diet.
- How many is appropriate depends on your dog's size, health and normal diet — treats should stay a small part of overall daily intake.
- Use plain cooked salmon only: no smoked salmon, no salt, no oil-heavy marinades, no garlic, no onion and no spice blends.
- Introduce a new treat slowly, especially with dogs that have a sensitive stomach, and ask your vet if your dog has any health condition.
