Storage
- Keep the frozen bites in a sealed container or bag in the freezer for up to 2 months.
- Do not refreeze bites that have thawed — discard any that have softened and been left out.
- Label the container so nobody mistakes them for human ice cubes.
Serving considerations
- These are small frozen occasional treats, not a meal and not a complete and balanced diet.
- Some dogs do not tolerate dairy well. Start with a very small amount and stop if you see loose stools or gas.
- How much is appropriate depends on your dog's size, health and normal diet — keep treats to a small share of daily intake.
- Never use sweetened, flavoured or low-fat sweetened yogurt: xylitol is toxic to dogs and appears in some sweetened products.
